The precursor of 3-indoleacetic acid biosynthesis in plants is tryptophan. The basic function of auxin is to regulate plant growth. It can not only promote growth, but also inhibit growth and organogenesis. Auxin not only exists in free state in plant cells, but also can bind firmly with biopolymers and other binding auxin, but also auxin that forms complexes with special substances, such as indole acetyl asparagine, indole acetic acid pentose and indole acetylglucose. This may be a storage mode of auxin in cells and an detoxification mode to remove the toxicity of excess auxin
